Job summary

Worth AI, Inc. is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate core data services powering products and analytics. You will own end-to-end data pipelines and APIs that ingest, process, and provide high-quality data to internal teams and external partners.

You will join a small, high-impact team treating the data platform as a product with strong SLAs and self-service capabilities, blending graph technologies with batch and streaming data processing on AWS.

Qualifications

• Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, AWS Neptune, or TigerGraph).
• Experience with entity resolution and linking disparate data points.
• Ability to design ontologies for evolving regulatory data (PEP, sanctions).
• Experience building GraphQL or REST APIs optimized for graph traversals.
• Experience building centralized data platforms at scale in cloud environments.
• Strong software engineering in Python, Java, Go, or Rust.
• Hands-on data pipelines and ETL/ELT on AWS or similar.
• Familiarity with Spark/Flink, Kafka/Kinesis, Airflow, and data warehouses.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement entity resolution to de-duplicate and link data into Golden Records.
• Design a global knowledge graph and ontology for ownership chains and risk relationships.
• Bridge graph databases with document/search stores for rich metadata and content.
• Optimize for real-time risk assessment and fast ownership traversal for onboarding decisions.
• Build scalable data services and APIs for ingestion, transformation, and serving.
• Develop batch and streaming pipelines using modern data processing tools and AWS.
• Own data platform reliability, performance, monitoring, and on-call practices.
• Implement data modeling, quality, lineage, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to translate needs into platform capabilities.
• Drive CI/CD, model as a service, and reproducible environments.
• Define architecture for an internal data platform service with clear contracts and SLAs.
