Job summary

Gopher Resource, LLC is seeking a Data Platform & Business Intelligence Developer to design, build, and support data, reporting, and analytics platforms using SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI. You will partner with business stakeholders to turn operational data into actionable insights while ensuring data quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server administration and T-SQL development experience.
• Experience developing and supporting SSIS packages and ETL processes.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design, query optimization, dimensional data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and BI best practices.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting/analytic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases and related objects.
• Monitor performance, tuning, backup/recovery, SQL Agent jobs, and HA solutions.
• Maintain database security, permissions, roles, and auditing controls.
• Develop and support stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and other database solutions.
• Design, develop, and support SSIS packages and data integration processes.
• Manage data ingestion, transformation, validation, and distribution between systems.
• Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical solutions.
