Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design and develop enterprise-scale BI solutions for a global private client business. The role involves collaborating with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to transform operational data into insights using data warehousing, tabular modeling, and Power BI reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of BI experience, strong SQL/Python/R/DAX skills, and hands-on Azure Synapse and Data Lake experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with business intelligence methods and tools (Power BI)
• Advanced knowledge in programming languages such as SQL, R, DAX/MDX, or Python
• Experience with Azure Synapse or equivalent cloud database technology
• Strong experience with tabular model design for large models in Analysis Services/Power BI
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Knowledge of RBAC and data security best practices
• Experience with Azure Data Lake environments
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale BI environments
• Strong documentation and testing experience
• Experience working cross-functionally with business stakeholders
• Incident management and operational support experience
