Gopher Resource is seeking a Data Platform & BI Developer to design, build, and support our data, reporting, and analytics stack using Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to turn operational data into actionable insights while ensuring data quality, security, and performance.

The role offers opportunities to contribute to ERP modernization and enterprise analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on SQL Server administration and T-SQL development.
• Experience developing SSIS packages and ETL processes.
• Experience designing and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong relational DB design, data modeling, DW concepts, and BI best practices.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate to reporting and analytics solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize MS SQL Server databases and objects.
• Monitor performance, implement tuning, manage backups and high-availability.
• Maintain security, permissions, roles, and auditing controls.
• Develop stored procedures, views, functions, triggers and other DB solutions.
• Design, develop, and support SSIS packages and ETL processes.
• Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets; publish and maintain.
• Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into solutions.
• Document data models, definitions, and development standards.
