Job summary

NFP requires a seasoned Data Platform Architect to lead the design, build, and scale of our data platform, leveraging Microsoft Fabric medallion architecture and Azure-based tools to deliver analytics-ready models.

You will mentor a small team of data engineers, drive coding standards, and partner with analytics, clinical, and product teams to translate business priorities into robust data solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering with leadership experience.
• Deep experience building lakehouse/medallion architectures; Fabric preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python/PySpark for large-scale transformations.
• Dimensional modeling and star schema design expertise.
• BI analytics fluency and semantic/serving layer understanding.
• Experience integrating diverse data sources into clean models.
• Solid data governance and CI/CD for data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform architecture and build for data platform.
• Guide a small team of data engineers, code reviews and unblock work.
• Develop and operate ingestion pipelines from multiple sources.
• Normalize and conform data for consistent analytics-ready models.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and cost optimization end to end.
• Collaborate with analytics, clinical, and product teams to align roadmaps.
