Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a Data Architecture Consultant to design and implement a data-centric platform serving as a single source of truth for a new nuclear build. The role spans design, licensing, procurement, construction, commissioning, and plant operations, with emphasis on data-driven workflows and real-time analytics for requirements management, traceability, and change control.

The position is full-time and on-site in Richland, WA, requiring a strong background in data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, engineering, or a related field with 5 years of data architecture experience.
• Experience designing operational or records systems and integrating data from diverse sources into a centralized location.
• Knowledge of cloud providers, SaaS platforms, and data storage platforms and how to select technologies for project needs.
• Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders and advising on technical solutions.
• Experience leading technical teams and communicating priorities to stakeholders with regular status updates.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data integration frameworks, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and data streaming (Kafka).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages and data warehousing principles (star/snowflake schemas).

Responsibilities

• Implement the comprehensive data strategy for a single source of truth data-centric platform.
• Establish a Data Governance Framework for data quality, security, and compliance.
• Identify digital twin and digital thread solutions for regulatory programs and plant equipment.
• Evaluate enterprise asset management software and databases to reduce redundancy.
