Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Data Platform Administration Architect to lead architecture, governance, and operational excellence for cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on Databricks and Azure services. The role partners with engineering, security, governance, and business teams to ensure reliable operations.

The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and extensive experience in incident response, change management, and platform modernization initiatives across production

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise data platforms or platform operations.
• Hands-on with Databricks and Azure data platforms in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead admin, architecture, governance, and operational support of enterprise data platforms.
• Manage Databricks, Azure data services across prod and non-prod.
• Own platform reliability, security, and performance.
• Define environment strategies, monitoring, procedures, and governance controls.
• Oversee change, release, and CAB activities with deployment readiness.
• Lead production support, incident management, and major incident handling.
