Cboe Global Markets offers a Software Engineer Intern position in Data Pipeline Engineering, focusing on data-driven batch and streaming systems used across North American exchange markets.

As part of the internship, you will work with mentors to build real-world capabilities in data processing, back-office workflows, and production-grade software practices within a fast-paced financial tech environment.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field and should not graduate before December of the internship year.
• Solid knowledge of software engineering data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Python or experience in another language with desire to learn Python.
• Experience with Linux or UNIX-like systems and knowledge of at least one scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Join DPE team in managing all data across Cboe NA trading exchanges.
• Develop and support back-office processes for trade clearing, reporting, and data exchange.
• Onboard with DPE, learn best practices for quality software engineering.
• Lead design, development, testing and deployment for at least one project.
• Contribute to resiliency, maintainability, and performance improvements.
