Cboe Global Markets in Kansas City, MO is offering a Software Engineer Intern – Data Pipeline Engineering. You'll join the Data Pipeline Engineering team, building data-driven batch and streaming systems and supporting back-office processing for trade data.

The role emphasizes learning, mentorship, and delivering in production, with hands-on design, development, testing, and deployment on at least one project, plus exposure to AWS/Snowflake and relational databases.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BS/MS program in CS or related field.
• Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Python or willingness to learn Python.
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX-like systems and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Onboard with DPE team and set up local development environment.
• Lead design, development, testing and deployment for at least one project.
• Contribute to resiliency, maintainability, scalability or performance improvements as assigned.
