Data Operations Manager

Job Description Summary

As part of the Global Service Analytics team, this role is responsible for delivering data operations and data management to support Cushman and Wakefield’s global services analytics platform. Responsibilities include data mapping, analysis, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, data assessments, governance, tabular model support, and general product support for the platform.

About the Role:

1. Serve as the primary lead overseeing the data analyst and testing activities, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery, and collaborating with the business and global team to resolve data issues.
2. Lead source-to-target data mapping for system integration of new data sources, including supporting testing of integrations.
3. Utilize analytics tools such as Alteryx, Azure Databricks, or Python to transform data, automate workflows, and develop analytical tools.
4. Support data quality initiatives by developing metrics, identifying gaps, and creating automated workflows and audits.
5. Perform data assessments and profiling of client data before onboarding onto the platform, analyzing new data sets for integration.
6. Assess impact of source system changes or non-standard data on the platform, translating business requirements into data requirements.
7. Review DAX and common data models to ensure alignment with business standards.
8. Collaborate with the business and global team to investigate and resolve data issues.
9. Create SQL scripts for testing, validation, and data issue investigation, and perform User Acceptance Testing during product releases.

About You:

• 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or Data Management.
• Ability to manage global stakeholders effectively.
• Proactive with a strong eagerness to learn.
