Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in data operations, data governance, or data engineering, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the data operations team ensuring data availability, reliability, and security.
• Oversee data platform infrastructure architecture, development, and maintenance for high availability and scalability.
• Develop and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Partner with analysts and stakeholders to align data platform capabilities with business goals.
• Lead the Data Governance Council for cross-functional alignment and stewardship.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing data operations team.
• Provide training and support to enhance team performance.
• Oversee data platform projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Generate regular reports on data platform performance and improvements for senior management.
• Evaluate, select, and implement data tools aligned with data strategy.
• Apply Microsoft Azure capabilities including Fabric to optimize data processes.
