Job summary

Houlihan Lokey is seeking a Data Operations Specialist in New York to own enterprise data standards, governance, and scalability. You will collaborate with business and tech teams to drive data quality and automation across the data lifecycle.

Responsibilities include leading data pipelines, incident management, and mentoring Analysts, while shaping the firm-wide data strategy and ensuring robust data controls.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant industry experience in data operations, research, or financial services.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize Data Operations pipelines, including cleansing and maintaining company data.
• Establish best practices and standards for ongoing data management.
• Lead incident management, root-cause analysis, and long-term preventative solutions.
• Serve as subject-matter expert in company data and data flows across the firm.
• Architect automation initiatives across Data Operations and enterprise reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Mentor Analysts and Interns; contribute to onboarding and process improvement.
