Job summary

General Dynamics IT seeks a Data Operations Lead to govern and operate the CMM data modernization program supporting AO and 204+ federal courts nationwide. You will lead data pipelines, governance, and analytics platforms, collaborating with governance stakeholders and business users to ensure reliable data services.

The role requires 10+ years in IT management with data governance and big data/cloud experience; PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT management experience with data governance focus.
Bachelor's degree required; PMP certification preferred.
Experience delivering big data/cloud solutions and governance.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contract liaison aligning execution with strategic goals.
Lead daily operations for data platforms, pipelines and analytics environments.
Establish monitoring, incident response, problem management, and releases.
Monitor availability, performance, capacity and pipeline health against SLAs.
Coordinate production support across cloud, data engineering, BI/analytics, cybersecurity and infra teams.
Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and system documentation.
Lead Data Operations team and mentor staff.
