Job summary

Qualifications

• Active graduate student in fields such as International Development, Economics, Public Policy, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, or related areas from an accredited University.
• Languages: Fluency in English. Working knowledge of another Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is a plus.
• Key Skills: Learn continuously, collaborate and share knowledge, focus on clients, communicate and influence, innovate and try new things.

Responsibilities

• Project pipeline data analytics: Conduct comprehensive analyses of the IDB’s project pipeline, examining patterns and factors that influence timelines and outcomes.
• Project design quality control: Support the review of the design of IDB loans, guarantees, and technical cooperations for quality control purposes.
• Support to operations teams: Provide guidance to operations teams on applying Bank policies and regulations.
• Operational inputs: Prepare project-specific insights and briefs to support strategic discussions at the Bank.
• Other projects: Conduct special initiatives and projects assigned by EVP Office staff.
