Data Engineering Internship: Build Data Pipelines

Job summary

Core Development is seeking a data engineering intern for a 10‑week program to build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure for firm‑wide use.

You will work closely with experienced engineers, receive mentoring, and contribute to production code while learning the full development lifecycle in an Agile environment. International students eligible for CPT/OPT and visa sponsorship for full‑time positions are welcome.

The base salary for this role is $250,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python development on Linux environment.
• Understanding of data structures and threading models.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team and deploy software daily.
• Desire to learn building robust, end-to-end data solutions from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data engineers on production code and pipelines.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle: planning, testing, release.
• Apply programming and analysis skills to maintain firm-wide data integrity.
