Job summary

Advanced Systems Group, LLC is seeking a Data Operations Engineer to join our client’s Business Operations data team in New York, NY. You’ll support the Senior Data Operations Architect by maintaining Airtable systems, API integrations, and data reliability across marketing, production, and monetization workflows.

You’ll focus on testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with opportunities to grow into more build work as data infrastructure matures and the business scales.

Qualifications

• Experience with data engineering, SQL, data modeling or cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining Airtable systems at scale.
• Experience integrating Airtable or similar tools with other systems via API.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; you enjoy testing, breaking, and fixing connections.
• Curiosity about how businesses work with data and finance/operational data.

Responsibilities

• Help consolidate and manage the team’s Airtable environment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot API connections between systems to ensure reliable data flow.
• Assist with automated reporting by tying financial, moderation, and production data to a central identifier.
• Build and support dashboards and executive reports to track efficiency and performance.
• Test and validate new integrations before launch, and fix issues as they arise.
• Be the onsite go-to person in NYC for daily support, escalating complex issues when needed.
• Keep data standards and system documentation up to date as we scale.
