Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America is seeking a data analytics professional to develop analytics solutions, predictive models, and scalable data products that support operational decision-making across the organization.

You will design and maintain ETL pipelines, build dashboards with SQL, Python, Power BI and Tableau, collaborate with IT, Ops and Finance, and explore automation and simple ML models to forecast outages and optimize resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis (e.g., reporting, KPI tracking).
  • Exposure to manufacturing, logistics, trading, finance, or energy sectors.
  • Experience with ERP/CRM platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce).

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain automated ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest data, logs, and external API data to deliver operational intelligence.
  • Use SQL, Python (pandas, matplotlib), and BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau) to transform data into clear dashboards that track uptime, incident response times, and cost-per-ticket metrics.
  • Partner with IT, Ops, and Finance teams to understand requirements, translate them into analytical solutions, and present findings with narrative storytelling.
  • Identify opportunities to automate routine reporting, enhance data quality, and implement feature-store or Auto-ML pipelines to accelerate delivery of analytics.
  • Build and deploy simple machine-learning models (e.g., anomaly detection, incident-risk scoring) to forecast potential outages and optimize resource allocation.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by TAI from time to time in its sole discretion
