Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Service Delivery Manager – Data Analytics, Data Migration & Data Modernization to lead end-to-end delivery in a hybrid environment in the United States. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive cloud-based transformation using AWS and Snowflake, and apply GenAI to enhance analytics, automation, and insights.

The role requires managing large-scale data programs, strong stakeholder communication, and governance to ensure delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale Data Analytics, Data Migration, and Data Modernization programs in enterprise environments.
• Strong project and service delivery management expertise with proven success leading cross-functional teams across complex technology engagements.
• Deep understanding of modern data architectures, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data governance, metadata management, and analytics platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS Cloud Services, including data and analytics technologies such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena and AWS AI/ML Services.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, including data warehousing, performance optimization, data sharing, governance, and cloud migration initiatives.
• Experience implementing Generative AI (GenAI) solutions and understanding of Large Language Models, AI-powered automation, prompt engineering, and enterprise AI use cases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of Data Analytics, Data Migration, and Data Modernization projects, ensuring successful execution against scope, quality, budget, and timeline commitments.
• Lead project planning and execution activities by defining objectives, milestones, resource requirements, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans aligned with business and client goals.
• Drive cloud-based data transformation initiatives using AWS services and Snowflake platforms to modernize legacy data ecosystems and improve scalability, performance, and governance.
• Manage large-scale data migration programs, including migration strategy, data validation, reconciliation, testing, and post-migration stabilization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and analytics teams to deliver robust data platforms, reporting solutions, dashboards, and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Establish and maintain delivery governance frameworks, including project reviews, status reporting, change management, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication.
