Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a hands-on leader to own the company’s core data models and shared metrics. You will focus on durable, reusable models that support analytics, in-product insights, and AI/ML model training.

You will work across Product, Data Platform, Business Analytics, Data Science, and ML teams to ensure consistent definitions, high data quality, and reliable data availability in a modern lakehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or formal people management.
• 6+ years building and owning shared, reusable data models.
• Experience with SaaS product usage and customer data.
• Advanced SQL and Python; Spark experience in a lakehouse.
• Knowledge of data quality, reliability, and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve core data models and metrics for product usage, customers, accounts, and business KPIs.
• Build and operate foundational data products in a modern lakehouse (Databricks).
• Define shared semantics and metric definitions for consistent interpretation.
• Partner with Product, Data Platform, Business Analytics, Data Science, and ML teams.
• Set technical direction for modeling standards and orchestration (Airflow, Astronomer).
