Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Statistical Modeler with a demand/forecasting background for a 6-month contract supporting a leading Fortune 100 client. This remote, project-based role involves working closely with SI partners and internal teams to implement and test a new internal forecasting solution. Key responsibilities include:

1. Solution deployment and testing
2. Leading the implementation of the forecasting engine
3. Conducting milestone reviews and daily touchpoints with the demand planning team
4. Collaborating with data teams to validate the forecasting engine and conduct user acceptance testing
5. Guiding business teams through the transition to the new forecasting tools
6. Preparing training materials and facilitating end-user training
7. Ensuring successful adoption of the new tools by the demand planning and forecasting teams

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years in statistical modeling or data analysis
• Deep understanding of demand planning processes, KPIs, and forecast accuracy measurement
• Experience testing and measuring forecast tool accuracy
• Proficiency in root cause analysis related to forecasting
• Technical expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data science
• Hands-on experience with driver-based forecasting techniques
• Proven track record in demand planning software implementation (build/test/deploy)
• Ability to handle large datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• Experience with SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions, or similar tools
