The Challenge:

We are currently looking for a Data Modeler with a strong background in Commercial capital lines of business within a financial services company, such as a commercial leasing firm.

Major responsibilities include:

• Building comprehensive data models for large-scale Lakehouse environments on AWS, specifically tailored for financial services and commercial lending data.
• Collaborating closely with business and technical teams to understand complex financial processes like loan origination, collateral management, and risk tracking, translating them into clear, scalable data models.
• Designing structured data layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold), supporting historical data tracking using best practices like Slowly Changing Dimensions, and establishing strong data governance with proper metadata and lineage.
• Ensuring that data models are technically sound, aligned with business needs, regulatory standards, and scalable for future growth.
