About the job: Data Migration Senior Project Manager

Contract position (remote)

This role requires a qualified Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience, specializing in data migration, particularly of Financial Data Objects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in large ERP project data migrations, with direct engagement with business stakeholders.

Additional preferred skills include experience with MS D365, vendor interaction and tracking, and knowledge of CCBA business functionality. The role demands the ability to work remotely, actively participate in online environments, collaborate with diverse and remote teams, and adapt to flexible working hours during different phases of the migration. Some travel may be required once restrictions are lifted. The candidate should demonstrate tenacity, resilience, and the ability to be firm yet approachable with a diverse team.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and define project plans for data migration, considering related streams and dependencies.
2. Ensure the execution of data migration according to approved plans, collaborating with Data Migration Leads and Business stakeholders.
3. Facilitate and coordinate the successful implementation of the data migration project, managing dependencies with sub-streams.
4. Identify issues and risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
5. Manage overtime for Data Migration Leads to meet project demands.
6. Utilize current PMO, project, and audit governance processes.
7. Produce regular progress reports on the data migration program.
8. Ensure the security of data, applications, and infrastructure against unauthorized modifications or disclosures.
9. Communicate relevant components and dependencies of the data migration program to stakeholders.
