Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Data Migration Engineer to design and lead complex data migration initiatives within our data platforms. In this role you will own migration delivery components and drive quality outcomes.

You will collaborate with product, QA and business teams to ensure data accuracy, define mappings, and support cutover planning. The ideal candidate has 7-10 years in data engineering with ETL/ELT and cloud experience.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in data engineering or migration.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools, SQL, Python.
• Experience with cloud data platforms Azure and AWS.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and transformation patterns.
• Experience with testing, validation and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to lead small teams or initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data migration pipelines and workflows
• Define data mappings transformation logic and validation rules
• Lead migration execution and troubleshooting
• Ensure data accuracy completeness and reconciliation
• Collaborate with Product QA and business teams
