Job summary

Harvard University’s Harvard Medical School seeks a Data Manager for the Laboratory of Systems Pharmacology (LSP) and Program in Therapeutic Science in Boston, MA. The role centers on curating clinical and experimental data, maintaining data infrastructure, and communicating complex data to diverse stakeholders.

The candidate will support grant writing, train team members, and liaise with software and HMS faculty, with a hybrid schedule up to two remote days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Curate scientific data including clinical data elements, biospecimen and experimental metadata.
• Manage data on institutional and cloud storage resources.
• Maintain scientific websites providing access to data (e.g. graybrcaatlas.org).
• Contribute to grant and manuscript writing and train lab members.
• Collaborate with senior data manager and director of software engineering.
