Buttershaw Business & Enterprise College is seeking a Data Manager to lead data-driven aspects across attainment, attendance, behaviour and examinations. The role is 37 hours per week during term time, plus four days (training days and additional days with line manager).

The successful candidate will manage SIMS/MIS data, import/export databases, and use Power BI to support school improvement. Closing date: 28 September 2026; interviews 1 October 2026.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above and an honours degree (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working with SIMS or other data analysis tools/MIS systems.
  • Experience of using Power BI.
  • Experience of importing and exporting information from databases.

Buttershaw Business & Enterprise College

37 hours per week, term time only plus four days (two training days and two additional days to be worked in agreement with line manager)

Working hours: 8am - 4pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-3.30pm Friday

We are looking for a Data Manager to take a strategic lead in the development of all data-driven aspects of the school, including attainment/assessment, attendance, behaviour and examinations.

We are looking for a Data Manager who has:

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above and an honours degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working with SIMS or other data analysis tools/MIS systems
  • Experience of using Power Bi
  • Experience of importing and exporting information from databases
