Job summary

PREMIER Bankcard in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a data engineer to design and optimize data workflows, pipelines, and infrastructure powering business intelligence reporting, financial analytics, and IT performance monitoring. The role collaborates with BI developers, analysts, and IT teams to deliver reliable, timely, and governed data solutions that support compliance and strategic insights.

Responsibilities include building enterprise datasets, ETL processes, UAT, and monitoring reporting

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with 2–4 years’ experience preferred.
• Experience designing and optimizing data workflows, pipelines and infrastructure.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with IT and business lines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating data gaps with stakeholders to remove dependencies and move projects forward.
• Collaborate with analysts to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Research and resolve data issues with Dev and business teams.
• Build and maintain enterprise datasets with senior engineers to ensure data is available, cleansed, and curated.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to load data into the data warehouse.
• Complete UAT on data related projects.
• Coordinate code releases and scheduling of data jobs.
• Monitor and review reporting infrastructure to resolve issues.
