Job summary

Morgan Business Consulting, LLC is seeking a Data Management Analyst to join the team on-site. The role focuses on configuration and data management support for Navy programs, including data submissions, reviews, and process improvements.

The position requires experience in data management, familiarity with CM tools, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Travel may be required to client sites domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in Data Management or two years in related areas like data management concepts and procedures.
• Knowledge of Navy Configuration Management processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or one additional year of data/configuration management experience.
• Active DOD Secret security clearance (ability to obtain)
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor data submissions.

• Handle and transfer classified data securely.
• Review and consolidate data change requests for CM/DM systems.
• Develop proficiency in MIDSvue operations and related tools.

Data Management Analyst

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually

We are currently seeking a Data Management Analyst to join our team in San Diego. This role is on-site.

What you’ll do:

The Data Management Analyst will provide Configuration Management and Data Management support to the U.S. Navy’s MIDS program office.

Responsibilities:

• Track and monitor data submissions
• Provide status reporting on MIDS industry data submissions as defined by the statement of work (SOW).
• Receive, handle, and transfer classified data via hard copy or by electronic means
• Review and consolidate functional change and enhancement requests for the MIDSvue database.
• Become proficient in MIDSvue operation
• Assist with the CM/DM processing of government approval and signature of letters (contractual, comments/approval, etc.)
• Provide a quality check to verify proper incorporation of all approved changes to the baseline documents
• Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients

Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in Data Management or combined two years of experience in two or more of the following areas:
  • Data Management
  • Planning, organizing, completing, and presenting assessments of Data Management concepts, analyses, studies, and procedures
  • Use of TopVue or similar data management tools such as DOORS and CMpro
• Knowledge of Department of the Navy Configuration Management processes.
• Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited in the United States or one additional year of configuration and data management experience
• Defense Acquisition University Configuration Management training
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD Secret security clearance
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
• Attend meetings and provide onsite/in-person support as required
