SourceX is seeking a Data Licensing Manager to own the supplier pipeline end to end, guiding business owners from first application through signed agreements, data delivery, and payment. You will coordinate across teams and partners to keep records accurate and deals on track.
This operations and commercial role requires clear communication, rigorous record keeping, and the ability to balance confidentiality with negotiation.
SourceX licenses business data directly from companies for AI training and evaluation. We work with businesses of all sizes to assess, structure, and transact their operational data — CRM records, support tickets, documents, engineering histories, collaboration messages, and more — connecting them with acquisition partners who use it to build better AI systems.
We operate our own supplier portal, agreement infrastructure and pipeline, and we're growing the team that runs it.
We're looking for a Data Licensing Manager to own our supplier pipeline end to end. You'll be the main point of contact for business owners going through the SourceX licensing process — guiding them from first application through to signed agreements, data delivery and payment.
This is an operations and commercial role. You'll work a queue-driven workspace alongside AI assistants, but every decision, approval, and outgoing communication is yours. You keep the pipeline moving, the records accurate, and the deals on track.
Qualification and pipeline management. Work the daily queue — review company checks and application submissions, run qualification calls, collect missing information, and record fit decisions with clear next steps on every record.
Dataset profiling. Build per-system inventories (CRM, support desk, documents, engineering history, collaboration messages) covering data categories, volume, years of history, export readiness, and ownership evidence. Turn incomplete applications into review-ready submissions.
Supplier communication. Approve or write supplier-facing emails. Explain estimates, offers, and agreement terms clearly. Handle objections and not-fit outcomes professionally, keeping partner identities and pricing confidential at all times.
Agreements and documentation. Coordinate NDAs, Master Supplier Licensing Agreements and Deal Confirmations. Confirm filled-in terms before dispatch, track signatures and maintain an audit-ready record at every stage.
Partner review and deal progression. Prepare and submit approved submission packs, coordinate partner conditions and counters, and route updated offers back through the portal for supplier acceptance.
Delivery, closing and payments. Coordinate data preparation and secure transfer. Track review windows, closing deadlines, and no-deal actions. Prepare supplier invoice drafts, record partner payments and reconcile receivables and payment obligations with finance.
Pipeline discipline. Keep the CRM, portal, shared inbox, and documents aligned. Chase overdue steps, report risks early, and continuously improve the playbooks and assistant prompts you work with.
