Job summary

Netflix seeks a Data Lead for Title Data Management within Content Data Management (CBP). You will own the lifecycle data models and frameworks, ensuring integrity across creation, production, launch, and catalog life.

You will partner with product and engineering teams to shape data strategy and governance. You’ll build scalable processes, measure impact, document changes, and translate evolving formats into operational rules.

Qualifications

• Six-plus years in data management or related fields such as entertainment data, production, or catalog systems.
• Experience working with product and engineering teams to align on data models and governance.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear frameworks and actionable plans.
• Proven track record communicating complex data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish relationships with product and engineering teams to evolve data models and taxonomies across title data.
• Prioritize learning areas across title data models and formats based on business needs.
• Understand lifecycle drivers and coordinate with multiple teams to manage impacts on title data.
• Build trust with partner teams through influence and shared goals.
• Assess and communicate effects of adjacent-system changes on title data and lead responses.
• Document changes to title lifecycle and structure, supporting automation and workflows.
• Define titles for new formats and translate into operational rules and handoff specs.
• Maintain cross-domain duplicates framework to prevent downstream issues.
• Collaborate with Data Lead on title integrity and with Data Quality Analysts for governance.
• Set goals and metrics for lifecycle domain and report progress to leadership.
• Contribute to roadmap initiatives and annual strategic goals.
