Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a Data Lead - Design to translate business requirements into scalable data models and technical solutions. The role requires advanced design judgment and ownership of design outcomes, with collaboration across IT and governance teams.

The position focuses on end-to-end data design, documentation, and continuous improvement while working in a normal office environment in Charlotte. This is a hands-on, non-management senior individual contributor role.

Qualifications

• Two years of education beyond high school in college or technical school.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong technical skills in working with and understanding systems, file structures and databases.
• 1-3 years in data modeling, MDM, or system design.
• SQL and database knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design data models, hierarchies, and end-to-end processes
• Lead solution design for new capabilities and integrations
• Collaborate with IT on architecture and implementation
• Ensure alignment with governance standards and business needs
• Document data flows, structures, and technical designsl>
• Support data modeling and process mapping
• Assist in translating business requirements into design inputs
• Maintain data definitions, relationships, and metadata
• Support testing and validation of new designs
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards
