Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Data Layer Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing data transformation workflows for geospatial and non-geospatial datasets.

You will work with ESRI geospatial data layers, ArcGIS Enterprise, and cloud-based geospatial services, and manage PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases. On-site in Doral, FL with Active Top Secret/SCI clearance; experience with AWS, Azure, GCS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Or minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in data governance.
• Experience developing and managing data governance frameworks.
• Experience implementing metadata and data cataloging solutions.
• Knowledge of DoD and IC data security policies compliance.
• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, Alation, AWS Glue, or Azure Purview.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
• DAMA Certified Data Governance Professional (DGSP).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.

Required Education and Experience Equivalency

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• OR Minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in data governance.
