Qualifications

• Five+ years supporting or owning enterprise data platforms.
• Experience with data integration, data pipelines, BI environments.
• Experience with Azure and Databricks.
• SQL querying, data reconciliation, and load validation.
• Vendor management experience.
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Leadership without direct people management.
• Platform operations including monitoring and change control.
• Security and data protection best practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional leadership for the Firm’s Data Lakehouse platform.
• Own ongoing operation, configuration, enhancement, and lifecycle of the platform.
• Translate business needs into actionable platform and data requirements.
• Ensure architecture, security, and standards are followed.
• Oversee data integration from Firm applications and other sources.
• Monitor data loads, investigate failures, and coordinate fixes.
• Validate data and reporting results; reconcile source/target data.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate support activities.
• Coordinate platform upgrades, releases, and changes with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with security, infra, and other tech teams on controls.
• Maintain platform documentation and transition support to teams.
• Work with Data Architect, BI developers, and AI engineers.
• Provide guidance to teams and promote best practices.
