Job summary

Blue Owl Insurance Solutions (BOIS), part of Blue Owl, seeks a Data Integrity Group Associate to join its Operations team in Chicago. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and governance of investment data supporting portfolio analytics, compliance, reporting, and client service functions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–10 years in financial services, with advanced Excel and hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin, SQL, and data warehousing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–10 years of experience in financial services, asset management, insurance, or a related industry.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin, including Security Master maintenance and compliance coding.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and investment data management.
• Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience with data warehouses, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Python experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee Security Master data within BlackRock Aladdin, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Perform daily quality control reviews to support portfolio analytics, reporting, and compliance processes.
• Research and resolve complex investment data, reporting, and system-related issues.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support client service efforts and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Conduct daily, monthly, and quarterly audits, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation.
• Participate in process improvement, automation, and technology enhancement initiatives.
