Job summary

Riskified in New York City is hiring a Data Integration Engineer to ensure complete and accurate client data for our data science models. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to scope, implement, validate, and monitor data integrations across diverse platforms.

Your work spans writing queries in Python/SQL, transforming large data files, and ensuring high-quality data feeds for risk and analytics models. This role offers a hybrid NYC work model with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a data-centric role (Analytics, Data Engineering, ETL, etc.).
• Strong SQL or NoSQL database skills.
• Experience with Python or R for data processing.
• Ability to optimize technical processes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Nice to have DBT or Python for building data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain merchant data configuration layer of Riskified’s platform (automated data tagging, transformation, filtering, etc.).
• Combine technical, business, and analytical objectives to come up with tailored onboarding solutions.
• Perform due diligence on merchant websites, business models, and data flows.
• Generate tailored data templates (JSON, CSV) to guide merchant teams in API/file integrations.
• Write queries and scripts in Python/SQL/Spark for data testing and validation in sandbox and production.
• Ad hoc data wrangling and sanitization.
• Monitor automated data alerts and communicate data issues with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with analysts, research, and data science teams to adapt to industry data changes.
• Identify and propose system-wide data issue solutions.
• Engage with client-facing teams on data integrations.
• Support R&D, Product, Data Science, and Integrations teams as a subject-matter expert.
