Job summary

VLink, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst – Data Integration & Enablement to join our team for a 6–12 month contract in Salt Lake City.

You will support data integration across EDW, Lake, Mesh, and ODS, using SQL and Python to profile data, validate quality, and define mappings for downstream reporting and analytics. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver reliable data foundations, participate in data modernization initiatives, and help enable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data integration, business intelligence, or a related data-focused role.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills with complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data validation.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and data quality validation.
• Experience documenting data lineage, mappings, and transformation logic across enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts, data reconciliation, and data quality testing.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear data integration, reporting, and analytics requirements.
• Profile and analyze source systems, data structures, and business rules using SQL and Python.
• Document source-to-target data flows supporting EDW, Data Lake, Data Mesh, and ODS.
• Define and maintain source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and metadata to improve data transparency and regulatory compliance.
• Develop data validation, testing activities, and data quality controls; implement automated profiling and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and analysts to troubleshoot data issues and ensure delivery meets requirements.
• Contribute to data modernization initiatives using dbt, Databricks on GCP, and AI-enabled data solutions.
• Promote data quality practices and share knowledge across the team.
