Job summary

Baltimore City Government seeks a Research Analyst II to organize and analyze data from international, national, and local sources into actionable insights for a City agency.

The role involves no supervisory duties, with moderate supervision from a technical superior. Candidates may work rotating shifts if assigned to the Baltimore City Police Department, and must pass background checks and obtain FBI clearance.

Qualifications

• Education: Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with a course in quantitative methods or research methods.
• AND
• Experience: Have two years of experience in compiling, analyzing and interpreting data.
• OR
• Equivalency Notes: Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NOTE: Positions in the Baltimore City Police Department must have two years of experience in compiling, analyzing and interpreting police data.
• NOTE: Those eligible under final consideration must authorize release of criminal conviction information and undergo a full background investigation.
• NOTE: Positions must obtain and maintain FBI security clearance.
