Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a Data Analyst to gather data, analyze information, and prepare comprehensive reports. You will develop reports from multiple systems, including inforce and block experience analyses, supporting various projects and providing actionable insights.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of reporting experience, or 7 years of reporting experience, with strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, PeopleSoft).

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree and 3 years reporting experience OR 7 years reporting experience.
• Experience developing reports from systems and analyzing data.
• PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, Access or PeopleSoft Financial application.
• Verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills to work with peers or across departments to resolve issues or complete projects/initiatives.
• Problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data, prepare reports and disseminate information from multiple sources.
• Create and execute ongoing reports (inforce business reports and block experience analyses).
• Support projects and initiatives and resolve issues by collaborating across departments.
