Job summary

Cetera Financial Group is seeking an Operational Metrics and Data Specialist who will develop strategies to collect, understand, and present business insights. You will analyze data, build models, automate reporting, and provide leadership to the team.

The role requires SQL proficiency, Snowflake experience, data visualization with Tableau, and the ability to translate requirements into tools that help stakeholders drive the business forward.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related role.
• Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools.
• Experience with Snowflake and related tools (Streamlit, Cortex).
• Experience building complex data models from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, and analyze data to present insights to leaders.
• Collaborate with teams to define data requirements and deadlines.
• Develop analytics governance and reporting standards.
• Create visualizations and presentations of results, forecasts, and recommendations.
• Automate data collection and reporting processes.
• Maintain databases and build models to support business decisions.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of analyses and reports.
