Job summary

CBRE Data Analyst position in the Data Science & Analytics group focuses on basic data analysis to back business conclusions with research findings. The role includes building and maintaining dashboards, data assets, and reporting systems to support decision making.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization. Work with an agile team to improve data quality and develop ad-hoc insights for business lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• In-depth experience with SQL, data visualization tools, ETL pipelines, and database management systems
• Strong programming skills with Python for data analysis and evaluation tasks

Responsibilities

• Use SQL and scripting languages to develop and maintain complex queries
• Develop and maintain data dashboards and assets including scripts and tables
• Apply data structures and algorithms to solve problems
• Define basic data requirements and gather information using statistics
• Use Python and open-source tools to plan models and extract insights
• Apply modeling and optimization methods to improve business performance
• Develop and maintain data models, automation systems, and reporting metrics
• Develop ad-hoc reporting from data sources
• Present a data story to a business line
• Ensure quality and integrity of data sources
• Collaborate with agile team to enhance processes and programs
