Job summary

MetTel, a global communications solutions provider, seeks a Business Insights Analyst in New York to turn data into strategic insights. You will collaborate with product management, sales, finance, and leadership to capture data, build financial models, and deliver interactive dashboards that inform decision-making.

The role requires a bachelor's in finance, data science, or economics and 3–5 years of data analysis or dashboard experience.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in finance, data science, or economics.
• 3–5 years’ experience in analyzing markets, product, generating financial statements, data analysis, or dashboard creation.
• Proficiency in predictive modeling, presentation and report generation.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, SageX3, or Salesforce experience.
• Experience with SQL and Python for data extraction and reporting.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to capture key data and identify data‑driven insights.
• Analyze, and interpret large and complex data sets related to business performance, account growth, and product usage.
• Create and develop detailed financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives including market analysis and customer segmentation.
• Create and deliver high‑impact reports and interactive dashboards for senior leadership.
• Create and deliver executive sales dashboards for monthly review by senior leadership.
