Job summary

Simmons is seeking a Data Analyst to perform full lifecycle data generation and partner with business stakeholders to collect requirements and develop reporting capabilities.

The role focuses on managing data, building datasets and dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and delivering ad-hoc reports while supporting BI tools and governance. Travel up to 25% and a minimum Associates degree are noted.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Strong preference for previous experience with BI tools and processes.
• Minimum education as stated: associates degree or certificate.

Responsibilities

• Manages master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
• Manages users and user roles in various BI tools and datasets.
• Manages and designs the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
• Provides Level 1 support for report and data related helpdesk tickets.
• Develops and implements datasets, data collection systems, data analytics and reports.
• Filters and cleans data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems.
• Creates documentation to train end users on BI Tools, new reports and dashboards, business processes, business requirements, change requests, code documentation and collection into the repository.
• Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains datasets.
• Develops and provides ad-hoc reports as requested.
• Supports data governance and data integrity initiatives.
