Job summary

Clutch Canada is looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join their Data team at Speechify in Culver City, California. This role focuses on all aspects of data collection to support model training operations.

Ideal candidates should have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, 5+ years of experience in software development, and proficiency with bash/Python scripting. Competitive salary is $140,000–$200,000 plus bonus and equity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficient in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
• Experience with web crawlers and data processing workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Find new sources of audio data for ingestion.
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with Scientists on dataset roadmap.
