Job summary

Clutch Canada is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join the Data team on AI at Speechify. You will be responsible for enhancing data collection processes that support model training and contribute towards building high-quality datasets.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in software development and proficiency in tools like Docker and GCP. The role offers a competitive salary range of $140,000–$200,000 plus bonuses and equity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure‑as‑Code concepts.
• Professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Find new sources of audio data for our ingestion pipeline.
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Collaborate with Scientists on dataset roadmap.
• Deliver richer data and contribute to AI models.
