Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Data Strategy & Governance Manager to design and operationalize enterprise data governance frameworks. You will translate data strategy into governance operating models adopted by business and technology stakeholders.

Travel may be required; you will lead governance workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure compliant, trusted data for analytics and AI initiatives. This is a senior consulting-facing role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in data management, governance, or data strategy.
• Minimum 5 years designing and operationalizing governance frameworks and operating models.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with data cataloging and lineage tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance design across ownership, stewardship, data quality, metadata management, and policy enforcement.
• Translate strategy into governance operating models adopted by business and technology stakeholders.
• Establish governance structures with councils, data classification, and access policies; embed accountability.
• Drive governance tooling adoption with cataloging, lineage, and data quality tools.
• Ensure governance frameworks meet regulatory and privacy requirements for the client’s industry.
• Manage delivery and stakeholders across data owners, stewards, and leadership.
