Job summary

Allied Solutions, LLC is seeking a Data Steward in Minnesota to ensure reliability, security, and quality of organizational data assets. You will help implement governance policies and maintain data accuracy across systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, data owners, and governance teams, with a focus on cataloging metadata, data lineage, and data standards, plus ongoing data literacy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1-3 years of experience in managing and analyzing data.
• Experience with data governance tools such as Alation or Collibra.
• Proficiency in data analysis, profiling, and modeling is preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL to query and validate data is preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills for data analysis and reporting are preferred.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and describe business data attributes to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Curate and manage the data catalog that includes glossaries, metadata, data rules, lineage, and standards.
• Monitor data quality metrics and coordinate remediation efforts to maintain accuracy.
• Assist stakeholders with data interpretation and decision-making.
• Classify data assets and attributes according to security and governance guidelines.
