Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years of data management and analysis experience.
• Experience with data governance tools such as Alation, Collibra or others preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL to query, review, and validate data preferred.
• Intermediary Excel skills for data analysis and reporting preferred.
• Experience in data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to identify data problems and create actionable solutions.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Define and describe business data attributes to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Curate and manage the data catalog that includes business glossaries, metadata, data rules, data lineage and data standards.
• Contribute to development of data governance documentation like process workflows and business glossaries.
• Monitor data quality metrics, identify issues, and co-ordinate remediation efforts to maintain accuracy and reliability.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to profile and interpret data sets.
• Assist stakeholders with data interpretation and decision making with their data governance requirements.
• Resolve data related conflicts and ambiguity.
• Foster a culture of data governance awareness and accountability through data literacy initiatives.
