Job summary

Comcast is seeking a data governance professional to enhance data management processes and enable informed decision-making across business units. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle.

You will lead data standardization initiatives, document enterprise data requirements with architecture teams, and test data-centric solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of work experience in data management/analytics.
• Experience with SAP or similar compensation software.

Responsibilities

• Managing data discovery, profiling, and documentation to support business unit reporting, analytics, and user queries.
• Acting as a subject matter expert, articulating data benefits and insights to business stakeholders.
• Documenting enterprise data requirements with business units and data architecture teams.
• Estimating project efforts and timelines in collaboration with management and project teams.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the data lifecycle for transparency and deadline adherence.
• Developing business rules to harmonize data for organizational consistency.
• Leading the creation and execution of test plans for User Acceptance Testing of data-centric projects.
• Partnering with engineering to implement data governance and ensure data solution integrity.
• Regular attendance and willingness to work nights/weekends as necessary.
