UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Data Governance Specialist to help build and maintain governance policies, manage data assets, and support compliance across the system.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 1–3 years of full-time experience, and CDMP certification; travel to governance meetings may be required.

This role will ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of organizational data. The incumbent will assist in the development, implementation, and support of a comprehensive data governance framework and related processes at UT Southwestern. This includes collaboration with data stewards, and stakeholders, management of data assets, monitoring compliance and performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making through proper governance practices. The responsibilities are dynamic and extend beyond routine tasks, including representing UTSW at UT System governance committees, coordinating efforts across the UT System, and managing complex administrative components such as procurement processes, master data management (MDM) solution oversight, and regulatory compliance activities. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Our ideal candidate has one to three years of paid full-time professional experience.

Required
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in administrative, regulatory, data management, business administration, or related field.
Preferred
