Job summary

Novul Solutions seeks an experienced Data Analyst to support enterprise-wide data governance, tagging, and protection initiatives within a secure DoW environment. You will establish data classification standards, oversee tagging and labeling, and ensure sensitive mission data is properly protected.

This role emphasizes lifecycle management, governance frameworks, and strong collaboration with security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven expertise in data tagging, labeling, classification, and categorization.
• Experience in secure enterprise data governance and protection.
• Knowledge of data ownership, stewardship, and lifecycle concepts.
• Experience developing data governance and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain data classification and categorization system.
• Coordinate data tagging and labeling across the DoW SAP enterprise.
• Ensure compliance with DoW policies and DoDI 5200.01.
• Define data governance policies including ownership and stewardship.
• Design and support a data governance framework.
• Develop a data management framework ensuring data integrity and security.
• Implement data security controls and privacy protections.
• Evaluate and propose data governance tools and technologies.
• Develop processes for collecting and integrating data across DoW.
• Create implementation plans for data masking solutions.
• Support enterprise data protection by labeling and tracking sensitive data.
