Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Data Office - Product Management & Enablement Lead to define the strategy, roadmap, and execution for data governance tools and Data Products.

You will lead a team of Data Product Coaches, drive best practices for data contracts, consumer alignment, and reuse patterns while ensuring compliance with GDPR/CCPA and secure, scalable solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of product management experience, preferably with data governance, data management, or enterprise software tools.
• Strong technical background with familiarity in databases, data architectures, cloud platforms, and API integrations.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, and data quality concepts.
• Proven track record of delivering successful products in an agile environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working in regulated industries or with compliance‑driven products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data Governance Tooling Product Management: define vision and roadmap; translate business and regulatory needs into technical specs; collaborate with engineering, design, and QA; manage end-to-end lifecycle.
• Data Product Enablement Lead: lead Data Product Coaches; establish best practices; reinforce product mindset and iterative delivery; apply Data Product Framework with Tech and Data.
• Governance Monitor: track performance, adoption, and feedback; ensure compliance with GDPR/CCPA; develop training and support materials.
